I've been following the circus from day 1 and its anything but a done deal for the Republicans

If Obama wins then Mc cains got his work cut out for him
The guy has already dodged everything clinton has thrown at him
The guy is smart as it gets. Not just painting himself as a black candidate

37-10min

Democrats have been out voting Republicans 3 to 1 even before Mc cain was assured of the Republican nomination which tells us that a lot of the apathetic have been awoken fom their slumber by Obama

Remember voting in America isn't compulsory

As one pundit put it Obama has run probably the single best campaign ever seen and its not even started for real yet

The real sleeper will be how the sub-prime disaster unfolds leading up the November. If that gets worse the republicans are dead in the water

Let us not forget Iraq and the rising death toll
Oh I see so you're suddenly a judge of who is intelligent or not depending on to what extent they agree with you?
Well, yes. I'm my own judge and I judge people on what they say and do. Don't we all? I thought you made a dumb statement.... "To think I had you down as an intelligent guy" is just a figure of speech, obviously.
The 2003 Iraq war was a cynical campaign, based on express lies about WMD. It was illegal........

And which country defied more UN resolutions than any other between 90 & 03? This isn't about the war, directly, anyway; this is about comparing war casualties that have been killed through incompetence, or pure accident, to PURPOSELY getting up that morning to blow-up unarmed, unaware civilians who were just going to do their days work. Did they masturbate thinking about those 72 virgins waiting for them in heaven, on the night before murdering all those people? I bet they did. If they were that angry about the west, why's there any need for the Imams to ram the virgins down their throats? They'd want to do it anyway, right? The problem here is religion. If you really thought there was an afterlife; if you really thought Allah wanted you to murder infidels, and if you really thought these virgins were waiting so suck your bell-end then I suppose it's much easier on the conscience when thinking about what you're about to do.

Is it worse to accidentally kill via incompetence (speeding) or accident, in your car, or purposely stalk an unaware family with a bowie knife and slitting their throats while they sleep? Death is death but Islam talks up immorality in the west yet are too fucking dumb to realise they're probably the most immoral group of people walking the planet right now.
The bottom line is that it was about making money and people simply didn't matter.
Here, we may be closer to agreement. Money DOES come into any such decision. But it is also true that the Iraqi people were oppressed with Saddam killing many more of his people than what we ever can. We have freed the people, regardless of what you think and the main post-war casualties are Muslim v Muslim; Shia v Sunni. How many mosques have these 'immoral' westerners blown up, compared to the rival Sunni/Shia conflict?

If you're antiwar then just say so; most people are. Just don't try and solidify your position by saying bombing civilians accidentally is the same as planning & murdering because it seriously isn't. Any moral person would tell you so.

I mean, if you boiled it riiiight down. The real bottom line would be we're at least fighting for something (money, freedom) while Islam is killing for something that doesn't exist (God / Allah / Mohamed the paedophile and desert bandit).

Every religion Islam comes into contact with, there's death and torture (Somalia v Christians - Israel v Jews - India v Hindus - Thailand v Buddists - Throughout Maylasia v Christians) Islam is a cult of death, just like Catholic Christianity was for 800 of the last 1000 years.

Btw, I hated the sanctions on Iraq. Saddam didn't care that his people were starving - infact the sanctions gave him an excuse as to why they were treated like animals; he conveniently blamed everythig on us. We should have taken him out long ago like we did Milosovic (remember him? This time on the Muslim side?)
I read on the Yahoo news page that there had been a big mortar attack on the green zone, but no mention of it on the BBC the same day, instead a lot of speculation-reported-as-fact about Robert Mugabe's resignation,
Well, one is a mortar attack on a very specific area within an inter-islamic, anti-freedom conflict while the other story is about a dictatorial, racist, despot retiring, which has is a massive difference to millions of Zimbabweans (of all colours).

I'd go as far as to say that the media have under-reported Zimbabwe, and over-reported Iraq.

A contributing factor to this incident was that prior to this taking place the Bush administration ignored advice from the CIA of a possible internal terrorist attack of this nature.
