NOTHING should really surprise in this day and age, society is becoming ever more sinister, daft and, to be honest, ludicrous and bungle-prone:-

A brief timeline of why not to be surprised:

1994: Fred West's House of Horrors uncovered, after a lot of prior evidence supporting the fact he was a nut;

2007: Kate and Gerry McCann, educated Doctors/consultants, taking kiddies on holiday and monitoring them every 30mins when they shouldn't be out of sight by people who should know better;

2008: Mr Back-From-The-Dead Insurance-Scam Canoeist;

2008: The Dungeons of a Jersey Borstal uncovered, with years of dark rumour and hearsay almost confirmed;

2008: Shannon Matthews debacle

1998/2008: Limbs in Scottish Lochs.

One should not be surprised at anything anymore by Britain's news: are we becoming as deranged as America?

True....

......however, our sicko ratio (or the number of sick cases involving sickos being reported) seems to be increasing alarmingly. So- in your opinion- what's increasing? The number of sickos per se............ or the number of media reports on these bastards- what are we seeing more of? Nutcases being born, or unfortunate cases in the press and media?

Fudgey,

Google or Wiki for 'the Stanford Experiment' or for 'Stanley Milgram'

You will see how and why we have sickos, as well as why Army bullying went untouched at Deepcut- and how ordinary Germans stood by and let the Nazis destroy their country and their Jewish neighbours.

An interesting tale reaches me which, if true, explains both the lovely Karen Matthews' wonderful complexion; and the nature of some of the child neglect.

Let me put it like this. I don't know if Karen plays Scrabble. But if she did, her favourite letter might just be 'H'.

It might be the case that after these blokes have sunk 12 litres of extra strong cider and had a couple of spliffs, anybody would look fanciable.
