I'm telling you now that you wouldn't be calling Jordan an airhead if she'd gone into porn.....even if she was an airhead. Anyway, we'll forget our disagreements over minor celebs because it's getting us nowhere.

For the record, you're right ? playing devils advocate can be fun. I'd also like to point out that it's healthy. If you can't have an alternative view then what would be the point of a forum? Alas, I really do believe in what I said about Jade Goody and Jordan. Working class girls that, compared to bankers and big business, made it out of the gutter using whatever skill they had (even if that skill was just the skill of getting people interested in them).

Lastly, I don't know what the fuck you're on about regarding deleted posts and the mods. I've not e-mailed the mods in about......I dunno......4 years. And that was to do with a post of mine that was removed.

Your not the first to blame me when a post of theirs has been removed, and you're not the first to be wrong. E-mail the mods if you want to know why it was deleted but stop making an arse of yourself by blaming me just because we disagree on some things. Sam, you talk about how airhead celebs who did little else other than just be noticed, and that being a skill in itself, should be commended, as that is a kind of achievement. Not sure I agree. If they happen to be noticed, and the media decides to run with something they have done, that is not an achievement as far as I can tell. Should Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards (that failed Olympic ski-er), Ozzy Ozbourne (one time singer who no one had heard of for years, but then MTV thought they'd film his private life for a series), be viewed as people who ACHIEVED something by being in that position? 'Lucky', I think. Not 'achievers'. Same goes for Goody, Jordan, Jordan's boyfriend, that Katona woman, etc, etc.

No, I probably wouldn't - but ONLY because I most likely wouldn't have seen enough of her to make a judgement call one way or the other.

Chances are that she'd be just another relatively low-profile porn performer. She wouldn't be in the news, she wouldn't be giving interviews in the media, she wouldn't be selling her story to celeb trash-mags to stare out at me every time I walk into WH Smiths or some supermarket.

But even if she *were* in porn, I'd have no hesitation in calling her an airhead if I did somehow gain more of an insight into her off-camera persona and I thought the tag were merited. And as things stand, I certainly CAN make that call on the basis of what I've seen and heard of her in the mass media. I have (as it were) more material on which to base an opinion.

I joined a thread defending a young lass who was being slaughtered. You're right in that I didn't know much about her so forgive me in checking my facts before shooting my mouth off. I must remember next time to 'gob off' ignorantly, just to please you, yes?

Now, if finding out the facts gets your back up then that's your problem, not mine. You on the other hand seem to have a habit of popping up on threads I participate in with snide remarks, lies and.....well.....bullshit.

I challenge any poster to quote one of crofter's posts that actually added something constructive to a debate.
