Well I was just talking to this lab rat who had escaped the clutches of the evil doctor and guess what ... he swears by the Quija Board and never again will he go anywhere near it ....
The Super Natural
Re: The Super Natural
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
Re: The Super Natural
Your original statement gave only two options which means to me if it's not one it must be the other.
I can certainly give you an account of what happened if you want to contact me off forum. I suspect other forumites are getting bored with the bickering.
I suspect though your aim will be to correct my spelling mistakes and grammar.

Tickling a suspicion, I discover he did.
'Magick' was used by Aleister Crowley to separate what he believed from stage 'magic'. Also associated with Wicca & Wiccan beliefs.
Ah, the voodoo of Google. Expect a comet to land on your house next week.

To you sam slater , ha ha ha . Magick is not about a broom or poison apples . That is pure fiction . You would be too scared to try black energy or white or gray . Dark energy is the most potent .

The issue whether contacting the underworld or not, or whether I called him a liar or not is hardly pedantic.

I couldn't give too many alternatives without knowing the specific circumstances, to be fair. I didn't think I needed to as my point was to show: "here are two more likely, easily explainable, easy to understand instances that could explain an event one may feel is supernatural in some way." I'm sorry if you don't like it but when someone tells you something that seems to defy all known logic, or goes against the physics of the material world we all have a duty to at least rule out natural, realistic causes for their story. One of those likely causes just happens to be human lying. To ignore this possible cause would mean we'd live in a crazy world where every story has credence; the craziest concoctions are deemed sensible.
Fred: Hello, George! You're late.
George: Yeah, I was gang-raped by space babies.
Fred: I never trusted that Kubrick fella.
You would have to believe my hypothetical burglar who told you his actions were controlled by demons and he's sorry for nicking your laptop and blu-ray player.
I hope I have explained, in an easy to understand manner, why I think my scepticism was warranted.

You could be right. No racism or calling each other nasty names in this thread and I can see how that might bore some around here. I'm not sure why your story can't be shared on forum. I don't really give my e-mail out much and I have strong doubts as to how you could think of anything that would lead me to believe in the paranormal. It also looks like no matter what I say you have your heart set on your experience being the doing of ghouls and witchcraft. Until you show me evidence, it's bollocks, of course.
Take it easy.........they're watching.
