As for freeporn i believe that it has been illegal now for sometime for UK based sites to show R18 porn without age verification ie: credit cards and the onus is on the site owner not affiliates to ensure their galleries are within the law, of course this does not affect sites based outside of the UK and i dont think anyone has yet been prosecuted because people will just click on to sites where they can get their free wank fix and there is plenty of choice and the internet is still in its infancy.

It's my recollection that photographers and models got paid monkey beans compared to what they can earn now. The 'good old days' always only favor the monkey. The monkey hates progress.

Although as usual I agree with most of what OEJ says I do think the introduction and in turn moan about free sites being set up is largely down to the fault of the industry itself.

In the early days there were far to many people setting up sites with the intention to con the punter and it still goes on now.

The consequence of that is folks eventually finding a stream where it won't happen or hope (remembering rouge diallers etc.) happen.

I genuinely feel sorry for those now affected by these sites but if anyone is to blame it is that section of the industry who gave the reason for them to initially start up and in turn be supported.

In the old days it used to a risk worth taking but not any more.

These same companies dont even pay to make porn but thrive on wholesale theft of other sites content to get huge traffic to their sites so that they can legitimise their position by selling advert space which in itself is a con as a bloke who wants to wank hard and fast for a couple minutes is hardly going to care about an obscure advert for obscure services.

Youporn already admitted it doesnt make that much huge profits for the amount of bandwidth it pays for on that Hard Profits show...Well thats what they said anyway

I suppose in an ideal world, all producers would cease to produce or release any more material from a certain date. All wait for a few years or rather wait for a time where it is possible to encode all new material with such a process, that when it is distributed without authorisation, the thieving bastards who get your stuff for nought find their computers melt into a sticky and highly, radioactive mulch, when they attempt to open up and play your stuff.

This would decrease the enourmous amount of free material and punters would have to ACTUALLY PAY for their new porn and in turn they would enjoy it all the more and therefore generate more demand and we would all get VERY RICH!

And we could could all get Ferraris and Rolex's and chunky gold chains, that aren't gold on the outside and empty on the inside and have lot's of money to spend on other stuff too, for example you could go into a Macdonalds like Posh and Becks do all the time and ask for a Big Mac meal and when they say it's ?3.92 say, "No, sir this is far too cheap, I insist on paying ?100 for this this Big Mac meal, because I am far too RICH to pay the same money for things, as common people like you do!" and other things like this!cigar! !cigar! !cigar! !cigar! !cigar! !cigar! <- That's us!

Very, very wrong. back in the 80's Roy Stuart and I used to get budgets to shoot stills set's with from Excelsior magazine of ?6000 and sell other rights to American mags such as High Society and Color Climax in Denmark so we could make up to ?10,000 per photo set. Nowadays christ knows what it would be worth - maybe ?1000 if you can battle your way through the other 1000 togs submitting and get your set(s) picked which can take up to 3/4 months and you have to include return postage !

After PRO selling up here it looks like the UK mag market will actually die soon.
