Firstly, we are immensely busy. All of the time. Not in an up-myself-im-so-important way but genuinely, I've got a sore arse from sitting in front of FCP kind of way. We send out very detailed callsheets to all the models we work with in order to give them every assistance to get to the shoot.

My own partner, Tigerr is a model so we are very much both aware of the difficulties models have negotiating public transport with bags of clothes etc etc.

However, I do think it's part of a model's responsibility to research who she is working with. It's not that difficult. Obtain references, ask for references, google!

If a model needs to bring a chaperone, she hasn't done her homework and she definitely hasn't thought through what she is getting involved in. If a model is so nervous she HAS to bring a chaperone then I'm not booking her. She'll look nervous, act nervous in front of the camera.

Secondly, I do not need any extra bodies on set. Who does? A set and the vicinity around it should be a controlled environment. No extra noise, no extra distraction.

Thirdly, there are a few. That's a FEW. A few 'chaperones' who let's face it are person's with a personal agenda that is both superfluous and antagonistic to what is essentially a creative process. This personal agenda can be anything from jealousy, insecurity, titillation or even to inflate the models sense of self-importance.

If Tigerr asked me to be her chaperone to a shoot. I would tell her to cancel the shoot.

Jack, you'll have noticed that the vast majority of our reviews are positive. There are only a few that are negative. Of course, it's far more interesting to focus on the negative.

But there is a serious note to this. If all producers shared BOTH positive and negative information it would be a positive thing.

A couple of times I've booked a model that was clown-shoes only to have another producer nod knowingly 'oh yeah..so-an-so is rubbish..no-showed me too!'

WTF. What use it that?

As far as I am concerned 'some' UK producers should grow a pair, stop promoting models that have faces for radio and licking ass of the few diva's out there.

Bad producers are always outed in this forum. Nobody seems to have a problem with that.

With regards NOT being nominated for any UK awards ever.

Yeah. Couldn't give a crap. Just fancied a moan.

Positive works too. In fact most to nearly all my shoots leave me in a positive mood.

I seldom get (in my view) a bad shoot. If it was that bad I'd simply call time out and not shoot it as I have done on a couple of occasions and just twittered the shoot didnt happen. End of. No love nor money lost on a dud shoot.

I'd love to be so 'live-and-let-live' in a hippy-ish kind of way.

But when you import beef and its off, you have to store it at your own expense and you flew into country to shoot said beef you might not be so quick to sniff the daisies and thinks it's so hooo---humm.
