I agree with most of what you're saying, and as a performer as well as a producer I don't like the '10 guys-1 girl' scenario either. I also think that a lot of the fun has gone out of the movies as well........so, I decided to make a series call ' Amateur House Party'. This has 2 guys and 7 girls (odds more to your way of thinking!) It has no real story just a group of people having a drink in the house and then getting naked and shagging. Everyone has a go a filming because the camera is passed around and the girls all told me at the end that it wasn't like work and that they all really enjoyed themselves.
You can't please everone all the time, but all the producers I know are pushed into shooting they way they do by the labels they are contracted to. They either shoot that way or lose their contracts. Fortunatly, as I've always been a maverick (as well as a pirate!) and shot what I wanted, I don't have those restrictions.

Well made porn can be a nice accessorary to a relationship

This is certainly the case in the US where the market is huge and many women happily rent and but videos. However I find French films to be the most erotic. There is a teasing quality to them and a feminity. I wouldnt say they are more explicit than any other...if anything a little less so

German films can be atouch brutal for my taste. There is a matter of fact attitude to sex which is fine (and in Berlin fun I can tell you..) but its not exciting

As for the Uk product. Well, I am afriad a lot seems to be aimed at 50 year old divorcees in bedsits. There is little time for the female element (although soem such as Wendy maybe are heading that way) and they are not the videos my girl enjoys at all.

Im planning to film a series, that copies a popular American style but gives it an injection of English girls.

The likes of Bang Bus, Calender Girls, Exploited Teens etc all follow a style whereby a supposed innocent is persuaded to partake in all sorts of debauchery on camera. It gives the impression of happening as you see it but does use real performers.

I've advertised locally for girls, and had a good response (4 girls from the 6 that responded are up for it!). When i've got enough material i plan to sell the videos direct from a website that shows stills etc.

Assuming things go well, i hope to cover my costs and any profits will go back into making more.

Any advice or suggestions?

Amateur House Party 1 & 2 are out now and available on the same DVD on the Rude Britainnia lable. I've also got 'X-Rated Auditions' out as well.
Next month, I've got 'Rearender' and 'Wife Watchers' out on the same lable.
My advice is shoot what you feel comfortable with and have fun while you're doing it. Then your movie will have a more natural look and feel to it.
