And why would they want to stop doing that?

Gotta say Kim is right.

Being at the amateur end was the beginning for me and it put me in direct contact with those who were willing to put their hand in their pocket for your product and I do beleive being in touch with the common man spoke volumes compared to being on a forum with faceless people with pseudonyms.

Theres no denying the mass appeal of amateur. I think this is largely because the people in it look like the people who buy it which is why it was a sure fire hit and still is.

I seem to be known for the crazy fun stuff of my early days, the one eyed jack series with Your Choice and Real Couples these days.

I met a bunch of guys who cornered me at a non porn event and when asked what they liked about my early work they said it was a lot of fun to watch and the people seemed to enjoy themselves...So producers should take note, Im thinking a lot of product has lost its way because the fun element has gone, not only out of th ebusiness of making it but also with the performers actually doing it.

Jack I think you've got it in one there... so many performers these days seem to look bored or like they are just going through the motions... I for one would love to see more fun and light heartedness in porn movies, like they had back in the 70's/80's era.

Not sure what you're referring to... post a link as an example?

If the current trend of short video releases for streamed viewing or download continues listing them will be far more work. Also the availability may only be for a limited time, how many items available now will still be live for download in a few years time?
While a DVD may no longer be available new a post on here will often find someone who has it in their collection. How many will keep downloaded files long term while I guess it will not be possible to save streamed video.

The move to HD and Blu-ray may well shift the trend back to disc due to people not having sufficient internet bandwidth.
Looking at the Nude2Rude website an hour of video in 720 x 410 DivX format is about 425MB but a whopping 3.5GB in 1920 x 1080 wmvHD.

Downloading 425MB in an hour is easy for those with cable internet and achievable on 8M telephone broadband if near to an exchange but there are many who have a connection that is actually 1M or slower. Anyone sharing a connection is likely to be unpopular for hogging all the bandwidth and have to explain what they are watching or downloading so would want a disc format too.

3.5GB in an hour is only achievable on cable.
In the next 10 years will the cable network be significantly increased let alone telephone broadband speeds and capacity be dramatically increased even to 8M for everybody? I am doubtful.

I'm sure that BDAFD will be part of the future, whatever happens.

As for predictions of the future, they are notoriously incorrect.

I asked a psychic to comment on James' thoughts for the future.

But she had to cancel due to unforseen circumstances.

Answer: One.

Question: How many psychics does it take to change a lightbulb?
