and for ur info magoo, i kno exactly how the dewey decimal system works thank you and i dont even read for fun. u underestimate my intelligence my friend - i think u dont realise that its a major hassle scrolling up and down the screen and waiting for it to load ur reply page trying to see whats what when if ur following a topic within a thread u know what the person is talking about and if you arent following it then u kno not to read it

......the scrolling aside (which we know is suffering caffeine overdose), are you on a 56k? The 'refresh' ought to be practically instantaneous, although I know it varies from server to server (Magoo's, I know, is pretty fast for a 56).
I still don't understand your logic, though: you read a post, and hit the 'reply' button at the bottom, thereby replying to that particular post: it seems HARDER to me to go to the top of the thread, and reply to the first post...........

Just common sense given that most of the threads aren't going off on tangents

i dont go to the top tho...i just go to the bottom once ive finished reading the posts (threaded view) and reply to whatevers been said thus returning to my original post. also i like to be able to write to seveal people at once...thus replying to several posts in one go, but apparently thats bad
