There'll be a place for you there, whichever level it is, between Skinner and Baddiel.

Me? I was talking about Dibs as Smug of the Year.
Between those two? Way too harsh.
Only Bush should end up THERE.

Apologies---I thought you were feeling rather smug at the opportunity of doing some Dibble-baiting.

I can just see Dibble in Hades, though:
"Is that the old 927/4321 trident with the three-pronged head. Nah, Satan, you'll never pull any demons with that. You want the 928/4000 GTI with go-faster stripes!"

I still feel close to tears when I remember the 80s usually when I pour some 2 stroke oil into this years gallon of unleaded flame retardent 0 octane "petrol " for the lawnmower these days . I was so pissed off when Moto GP canned the 500cc strokers , those bikes were the pinnacle of motor sport , but with 2 strokes out of the sales catalogues they had no marketing potential , so in the trash .
It's nice to be called Mr Clarkson as he is allright , however when watching him and having a larf , I often feel it's a shame he doesn't know much about cars .

I agree Fastbike he never really displays much indepth knowledge but then he probably isnt supposed to on Top Gear because its meant to be a programme for everyone.
Its his obsession with thinking he's funny that pisses me off and the way all car journalists....finish every sentence....with dramatic pauses. and EMPHASIS.
Its good to have a car guy on the forum, now we all know who to beg for help to.

I would concur on the suitableness of vans as a venue for shagging Duce. I fondly remember, as a youth, borrowing my works escort van to take out Pamela (my first real love) and later on shag her in the back while parked up at the local picnic area.
However, when one gets to the time of life and attains the status where Porsche ownership is a realist proposition, it's usually the case that one also owns a well cushty gaff as well, negating the need for furtive fumblings in dark public places and the back seats of automobiles.

Nah, never reckoned much to Sam Fox - Debbie Ashby was far superior.
