I agree RetroDon. I'm unemployed at the minute (also Tony Blairs fault as he closed the school I was working at, not because it was failing either, just to bring the county into line with the rest and to pour loads of money into the schools that remain open, and need to get much bigger to accomodate all the kids from the schools that closed, so they can buy more crap from his mates' companies), and I hate going to the jobcentre every other Thursday. It's actually barely worth it as they're only paying my national insurance stamp because, unlike most of the chavs that I tend to see there, I had the good sense to put some money away while I was still in employment and living with my parents. more than 30% of my pay was taken by the government each and every week, 1/5 of which was pension contributions that, thanks to this government stealing money from state pensions to balance for all the budgetting cockups they've made elsewhere, I'll probably never get back. About 1/9 of the deductions was national insurance, which is going to pay for one of the many extra hospital managers we now have that don't actually do anything to help the running of the hospital, and the rest was tax.

I would consider emigrating, but where is there to go?

If theres one thing I've learned in 4 years of being on these forums its

"never add to a thread which is started with abuse"

Why? because nine times out of ten it gets deleted and any valid points you most likely made will be lost forever

If it wasn't for Caractacuses articulate & logical response to rudeboys overt abuse the whole thread would be GONE IMHO

Never forget Arnie there are all types of forumites(age,race,education levels)so while Jimi might be a legend to you but you've got to accept that there will be others for what ever reason don't rate him.Its their perogative to have that opinion
