I have to admit that I'm one of those selfish motorists who fucking hates cyclists - most seem to think that the rules of the road simply don't apply to them and they're a major pain in the arse when you're in a hurry and can't overtake the bastards.

And what's worse, if you're driving along an unlit country lane on a dark winter night and knock over a cyclist wearing full SAS-style black gear (complete with black balaclava) riding a black bike with no lights - it's YOUR fault!!!!

All that said though, the vast majority of cyclists are also motorists. In which case they already pay just like the rest of us.

I am though in favour of some sort of compulsory cycling proficiency test.

I disagree & am annoyed by certain of your comments, your comments, the same as the person earlier in this thread, generalised that ALL Cyclists are of the same Ilk.

With them remarks, we (Cyclists) could put ALL Motorists in the same catagory/Ilk, because of just a few certain asshole drivers, ALL should be classed as Obnoxious, Road Hogging, Arragant Fucks.

But with regard to your comment about cycle proficiency, Schools used to have Police Officers who would lay on Cycle Proficiency Lessons for them when I was a kid.

They don't any more, which is a shame.

As a Cyclist myself, I get really fucked off with Dickhead Cyclists who think THEY HAVE THE RIGHT to own the road.

As with the other posts I put on this specific Thread, I would not mind wearing a Relective Jacket. But having to pay for a Licence Plate, Road Tax & Road Usage Insurance (which is what the Pro-Motorist Lobby groups are pressurizing the Government to enforce), come off it, get FUCKING REAL.

Next thing, it will be Illegal to have a Pushchair or Pram on the Pavement as its a Vehicle (under rules STILL IN FORCE that were used prior to the WW2), these rules have NOT been revoked, & could still be enforced.

What is happening in September, your going to get ALL Horse & Pony riders to have a License Plate tattooed onto the rump of the horse/pony?
