To achieve "a peaceful future" you obviously know nothing about the warlords who rule in Iraq.
America thought that they could go in there against Saddam who had no navy or airforce and with their high tech weapons and it would be a pushover! But you need soldiers on the ground to win any war. Now it is payback time because these people have a history of warfare and a fight is pleasurable to them. They seek martydom in a righteous struggle to throw the infidel crusaders out of their land.
Now that Saddam has gone they are now engaged in a civil war between Shias and Sunnis. It was a lot more peaceful under Saddam because he knew how to keep the lid on. He was brutal yes but if he had not been he would have been killed a long time ago. The situation can only worsen the longer the coalition forces stay.
What are we doing there anyway. No one cares much about Iraq over here nor in America except some corrupt politicians playing a political game which has now badly backfired. You seem satisfied to pay your taxes to keep the charade going but not many people are!
Democracy will never be established only a third world war if America and the UK does not find a way out.
You talk about answering points but you ignore every point that I have made and continue with your stupid talk of establishing peace.

The Red Army were fighting the Mujadeen. The warlords now rule Iraq and more Islamic warriors are flooding into Iraq from all over the Muslim world. The present conflict has united the Muslims like never before.

I did not say that young men were more important than woman and children. I pointed out that half a million people have died since Saddam was deposed most of them civilians. I reiterate children could go to school safely when Saddam ruled without their parents worrying whether they would be killed.

Kurds live in Kurdistan. I know Saddam had a war with them. You make much of gassing but do not criticise the use of depleted uranium that leaves Iraq radioactive and also poisons our own soldiers. War is a terrible business and a political game that takes place when the jaw jaw stops. It is academic to distinguish between horrific ways of killing people.
You also think that democracy is the perfect system of government but it is an illusion because the politicians do not represent the people or do what they want, and you really have no choice but the usual line up of professional politicians.
