I don't know why you're singling out the 1930s, when the Chinese Labour Exclusion Act (I think that's what it was called) was passed in the 1880s. I don't claim to know exactly why such legislation was passed - no doubt there were economic / employment market-related motives behind it, at least in part (given the very large numbers of Chinese in the US by that time). But you're automatically assuming it was purely "racist".

But okay - I'll bite.

Let's look at the illegal immigrants: The Home Office estimates that there are around 500,000 illegal immigrants in the UK (though no-one really knows for sure). And that's just the illegals!! Are you seriously telling us that there are more than half a million "white Commonwealth" immigrants in the UK, outnumbering these illegals?

Let's look now at other ethnic groups: There are almost a million from the Sub-Continent who were actually born on the Sub-Continent. Leicester now has a non-white majority population (with other UK cities expected to follow in the years ahead). Once again, do you seriously expect us to believe your claims that there's a mass influx of Antipodeans and white South Africans into UK?

And for the past few years, legal immigrants from Eastern Europe have been arriving at a 6-figure rate annually. Yet you're also spuriously claiming that the number of "white Commonwealth" arrivals is outstripping this?!

Not scientific I know, but purely anecdotally I personally know - or know of - one single, solitary couple in the UK who come from a "white Commonwealth" country (a young New Zealand couple that runs a pub in my home town). And yet Eastern Europeans seem to be everywhere.

So I ask you again: Where is the evidence to back up your outlandish claims that "white" Commonwealth immigrants far outnumber Kosovans, Rumanians etc. in the UK? Oh what a surprise - you don't have any! Just saying "you haven't proved me wrong - so I'm right" is no fucking argument, I'm afraid.

Besides, one minute you're claiming that migration is "driven by economic factors", and the next you're saying that immigrants from "white Commonwealth" countries far outnumber Eastern Europeans in the UK. Which is all very strange given that these countries are prosperous first world countries with a high standard of living and low unemployment - so why would there be mass migration away from them in the first place?

Spot the glaring contradiction!

Hey Flat Eric! Not to change the subject but have you ever thought that all of the blacks on death row commited those crimes? Check The Innocence Project. There are quite a few blacks being accused of crimes they didn't commit especially back in the day. Also just as a side note you and WZR might want to read my post on illegal immigration.
