Oh yeah. I'm in favour of the life meaning life. Yo u take someones klife you should pay for it with your own.

Execution is the easy way out. To live everyday knowing you have no liberty is more soul destroying than a swift execution.

Did anyone see the news the other week or was it a documentary showing those guys being led out in public square in front of the audience to be hanged for something like armed robbery. Did anyone notice the smile on the guys face prior to hanging?

To me that was his own little personal: Fuck all y'all motherfuckers.

That reinforced my notion that the death penalty is not even a deterrent and I think hanging for amred robbery was well over the top. he might as well have gunned down a few security guards and killed a few civilians while he was at it. the outcome would have been the same

Or life in Iraq must be that crap that public execution must be a relief by comparison.

Of course not.

1) morally repugnant to kill in the name of the state
2) doesn't work as deterrent

Everybody talks about rights... your right , their rights, the right for this, the right for that...

For the last time the idea of people having rights in some metaphysical form is a load of bull. Nobody has any rights. Rights are given to people via society.

So an argument: everybody has the right to life... We all agree?

Well if you did......

then death penalty just denied someone their right. (hence no universal rights).

Certain crimes then yes, but its hard to determine what catagory they would fall into.
Firstly, when it is conclusive with DNA, CCTV footage and witnessess, then you should be looking at the ultimate sentence, BUT if it makes a marytr from someone fighting for their cause, then no.......25 years minimum sentence....people soon forget about them, as they rant their beliefs in the confines of their cells
Crime of passion then thats a 10 year stretch, and killing in a sudden rage, then your looking at a ten as well........again, no early releases. But paedos who kill, then yes, string the bastards up. Seriel killers ala Stephen Wright, then its the drop for them as well............but never mind these lengthy appeal processes ala USA, lets get back to the 3 sundays rule, hence On passing of sentence of death, the law states 3 sundays must pass before execution of sentence is carried out. One appeal and thats yer lot. So, killers must hope to be sentenced on a Monday or Tuesday for those extra 'free days' sweating it out.
If an appeal is successful, then nevermind these maximum prisons with playstations and colour TVs with Sky TV, 24 hour care, make it a REAL 30 year experience, NO early release and time to reflect on what they did to get them there in the first place!
Liberal do-gooders and Euro MPs who bang on about the prisoners rights and supposed hard childhood, then they should be told to wind their necks in and do something worthwhile.

Thats MY opinion

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

Yes, but only in extreme cases, plus we need to keep some of these scum alive to clear up any unsolved crimes. For example, if Levi Bellend was executed tomorrow then we may never know if he killed Milly Dowler or not.

Then do as the americans do, have a death row for a number of years, that way other crimes could be solved. Make them suffer like their poor defenceless victims.

Im in favor of the death sentence.
