Indeed; but it [intentionally or otherwise] exacerbates the public
perception of "rampant crime".

I wonder what the weather will be like here 50 years from now. I think the summers will be as hot as it presently is in Spain - all the time - it may even be as hot as Africa. I guess we will all have air-conditioners by then like the Americans do and that will do a lot to (even further) harm what is left of the environment!

True, but he made a good general point about how dangerous
any powerful ideology can be.
I sometimes feel we'll soon be revisiting the Crusades....
