I'd also say back in the early 2000's the technology was not so available and as cheap as it is now, so I guess some models are better off web camming and using AW. All that said, I say a good 50% still need a content share to make AW work because unless they're with a partner, they cannot produce the content themselves, I know that much as I still do that when I'm asked.
