Im like you - I dont really care if gay people can get married or not. I do think they should have legal rights but I can't help but think there will be a lot of gay couples who suddenly all get married just "because we can now!!!"***

But what you might have failed to realise ID is that in the US of A marriage has far more reaching implications like tax,social security benefits & parenting rights

Gay couples adopt childrens as well so they should be afforded the same level of protection and benefits that marriage offers otherwise the risk is there of branding people second class citizens

This malarkey that by allowing same sex couples to be legally married
is devaluing marriage is typical of the ideology of the religious

If marriage were really such a great instituition then why does the average marriage only last 7 years

Once again we're drawing the lines in the sand over sexual relations

I won't repeat my opposition to gay adoption/marriage, as you've all heard my reasoning before.
But it's worth mentioning again the potentially fatal confusion of Western governments of whatever political stripe between tolerance, and approbation.
The former is laudable, the latter tendentious and dangerous.

you're addicted to porn if it no longer 'works' and has no effect on you. You have become so accustomed to constantly viewing it that you are immune to it- that clearly must be very problematic if anyone is in such a situation.

Personally I can go days without it and days without knocking one off or having my way with my missus.

However, I can certainly think of worse things to be addicted to- it doesnt do as much harm as say drink, drugs, gambling.
