I WAS watching South Park (a fellow soul.........?)....
......and I think this is the most intelligent, correctly-spelt, well-reasoned post I have seen in the whole year I've been here.
Not that that's much to go on, me being a 'virgin' and all that........

Matt I respect your posts here but LOATH 'Uni' life and all it (mis)represents, getting everybody else to help fund your 'studies' is IMO total BS.I think there should be a total of 3 lecturers on every subject for the WHOLE of the UK and that it should be broadcast on the internet for FREE.
BINGO! Billions of quid saved,no environmental damage and no obnoxious students braying to each other about sod all down at 'the Union' all night.
To save you 2 years of angst here is a 17 word answer :
"Your rights end where my rights begin. I have the right to defend them at that line."
Brought to you by the campaign for clear English.

Love her morality: Bombing the world's poorest country (Afghanistan) into the ground - GOOD.
Women getting their tits out for money, or because they just enjoy it, - EVIL.

So if absolute power corrupts absolutely, where does that leave God?

JJ, South park is the one of the biggest attack's on our kids rights to be kid's I have ever seen. It should be banned and the companies behind it prosecuted for marketing pornography to children. I would go as far as to call them the nonce word.

.....a witty and erudite troll, for a change.
The trouble with all the above is the constant misconstruction of the difference between 'rights', and 'licence', the former being (in the UK) an unspoken contract between a Government and its citizens, with responsibilities on BOTH sides, the latter being merely indulgence by that same Government..
Which misconstruction is, historically, usually where Totalitarianism begins.

Humility, Matt?
So all that stuff about students must be untrue.
