Anyone got events, change in costs from 1981?.Apart from the obvious Royal Wedding, the riots of Brixton and Toxteth.

Thatcher gave liscence(sp?) for the yuppies to undermine the working class
Spurs won the FA Cup !puke! beating Man City in a thrilling replay at Wembley.Poor ol Tommy Hutchinson.
Liverpool won the league, but then what else was new !sherlock!

The Beano cost only 8p as did most of the other comics, excluding The Sun
Match Magazine was 10p
A packet of Pannini football stickers cost 5p
Blackjacks and fruit chews were only a penny

Knockdown ginger and British Bulldog were my favourite 'after school' games.

Once again the tv producers have tried to go a series too far.
John Sim got out at the right time
To make up for it Keeley Hawes is easy on the eye and the music is not bad as well.
Does any one watch Torchwood?.
So far i find this series not has good as the first.

Torchwood could have been great, a good idea wasted. The trouble with Torchwood is that's it's too....gay. And all the other character's look as if they've just finished their day job on Eastenders.

It's a shame really, because I for one was really looking forward to watching Torchwood, most disappointing.

Au contraire, I think it's finding its legs. It helped explaining some of the mystery of Jack, and giving Tosh more to do. The memory-manipulation episode was quite chilling----particularly changing the perception of who "we" are.
