Why would it be important to me to change your opinion ? I simply stated something which happened to me and some friends. Some people probably believe me and some don't. I also believe that if I said something was black some people would argue that it's not black but very dark white.
Some people also seem to have very large egos if they think it's important to me to change their opinions.

Then why spend 3 days replying to me? If you don't care why reply at all?

I didn't say" I don't care" I said " not important" but your ego is coming through again, there might be somebody else beside you reading this bickering. I say to you again lets take it off forum. My e-mail is on site for anyone to see. I'm not afraid to let somebody contact me.

I'd want to see evidence of the empty mushroom soup tins, cornflake packets and goblin droppings.
I didn't say" I don't care" I said " not important"
What's the difference from your perspective? So you think it's unimportant that you change my mind but care enough to try anyway?
but your ego is coming through again,
Ego? Think about what ego means. You are the one that states something unbelievable, cannot give any proof and yet seems to get annoyed at others who do not drop their knowledge of the world and follow your illogical reasoning. That is ego right there. My ego levels are just a distraction of whether what you experienced is paranormal or not. I could be the humblest or the most egotistical guy that ever existed and it would matter not one jot as to the truth of what happened. Let's stop the tit-for-tat crap before it gets in full flow, eh?
there might be somebody else beside you reading this bickering.
If there is then they're obviously interested in our little conversation. If we're boring them they wont contribute or read so don't worry about it too much. It's not like we're throwing insults at each other and what-not. We've been pretty civil to each other, haven't we?
I'm not afraid to let somebody contact me.
That's a lie for a start. What about those spirits? !laugh! Sorry, you walked into that one.

I could have eaten the cornflakes and mushroom soup myself. It is more likely that I'd lie about goblins than for them to be real anyway !happy!

As for the droppings: what would you compare them to? Leprechaun dung is easily mistaken for goblin droppings!

If you believe in spirits offer to buy me a drink and we can stop the bickering.
Is Drambuie classed as a spirit or a liqueur ?

Why is it that the scientific materialist is so keen to demolish everyone who holds a different view?

Why do rationalists argue so vehemently?

It's ugly to be so opinionated.
