tru very true ... but do we really need a church a synagog or mosque or temple to be religious,i think we all believe in some higher power ... but organised religion is man made to fit man ... none of that is important, whats important is peoples hearts, gestures and feeling towards eachother and other creatures.

i think there something much more locigal, believeable and simple than organised religion, just a being, that i like to think loves us all and see only the good in us xx

I agre with your sentiment but can never resist correcting people's interpretation of the saying "Charity begins at home."
This saying does NOT mean (as it is often used to mean) that a person should keep their own money in their own pocket. Rather, it means that if you are asking others to give to a good cause then it is YOU that should do so first and lead by example.
he misunderstanding comes from the fact that the saying was first written in ancient Greek and the word (very roughly 'οικία') has been transliterated into 'home' rather than been kept in context to mean 'with you.'
The saying actually should go:
"Giving begins with you."

Hope this helps.

Samara makes a good point about organized religions and I for one have had some experience of this.
However, the idea that religious gatherings are not necessary to the religious is plainly wrong.
Imagine a devout football supported going on all day about how much he/she loved a particular team...!blues!!shrug!!footie! but if they never gathered with other like-minded supporters at their local football-ground or sat with other supporters down the pub!drink! and chatted endlessly about signings!teacher!, relegation prospects!glum!, management incompetence!swear! and ticket prices!rant! then you would rightly suspect!sherlock! their talk of loyalty to be a sham!tut! .
Birds of a feather will always WANT to flock together...

...it's just that churches then make a complete pig's-ear of the whole thing!
!grin!
