Does this have anything to do with a certain arsehole producer who trys to pressurise girls to do things such as use toys that have been used by someone with an sti.. and then expect a bit of fairy liquid to do the job!
Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

God, I really do live a sheltered life, I didn't realise such "Producers" roamed the streets unchecked! Sounds like the UK porn industry needs a "Scumbag Hotline" where girls when faced with "Producers" doing scummy stuff can phone the hotline and ask someone's advice. Like, "Is that the scumbag hotline? I'm at a shoot and a producer has shown me an HIV test, except I noticed that the doctor who wrote the test cant spell and has written the test in crayon. Also the producer is asking me to insert a giant marrow up me covered in washing up liquid, is this normal, should I comply or go home?"
The answer would have to be, "Listen luv, you're over 18, you're an adult, what do you think? Stand up for yourself and do what you think is right!"
At the end of the day, performers must have the strength of character to know when something is right or something is wrong and act on that assumption accordingly. If they think what they have been asked to do is wrong, whether it be work with someone with a dodgy test or get gangbanged by 10 dossers when they were told there'd be just 1, it is the performer who must have the bottle to say, "I'm outta here pal!"
All organisations like UKAP can do is advise, inform and warn.

I dont know Kaz but given the attitude to the certs it wouldnt suprise me. I think the guilty party have heeded the warning as they may well be very red with embarrassment right now.
Sometimes a warning is more effective than just picking an out and out fight.

That reminds me there was a shoot I did a while ago (last year) and there was an assorted box of toys. It was not until the end of the shoot when I noticed it and I had thankfully taken along my own. After seeing that I made the point of only every using my own toys.
On a shoot where strap on style toys were used they guy in charge of them washed the toys properly before and after ever use and it was done in front of everyone. Just shows the 2 very different standards that are used.
It is all down to a models judgement and if not happy with anything then don't do it. No amount of money for a shoot would make me go ahead if I had any doubts, I would rather walk away.

lol I remember doing camera for a "Big Cheese" a few years ago and he used to have all the washed dildos lined up on his dish rack in the kitchen. They had all been scrubbed clean and were drying out before being wrapped in cling-film.
Technically, there's nothing really wrong with this. After all we wash plates and then re-use them, but seeing the dildos, all standing like soldiers all drying off, I always found a little revolting to be honest. But then I'm a bit of a prude! lol
