Sorry SB i have to disagree with your whole argument (i ve read through all the posts so far) You are dealing with a situation when officers are having to take down somebody who is very drunk and violent in a controlled method which to the untrained eye looks very violent but compared to the reality which would be open to the unthinking scumbag on the street to deal with her where you can punch/kick the crap out of her then any man can be a hero and handle it by himself, although every armchair rambo outhere would have a real shock.

Epileptic was she? was she having a seizure while they were dealing with her or maybe its not a race thing at all as every race activist/anti police baggage merchant keeps saying but prehaps they all cant stand these bleeding epileptics and thats why they were "beating her up"

I used to use the control and restraint methods employed by the police while working in the hospitals and you need a large group hold down individuals in a safe manner and to top it all now the cops would have to worry about any accusation of not dealing with an incidnet safely i.e enough men to carry out the holds and to be able to pich her up!

On a personal note i wouldnt mind coppers being able give a damned good hiding to the dreggs they have to collar therse days (funnily enough thats the client group i work with now) as that would be the only justice society would get now due to our rather corrupted land unbalanced to the crims favour legal system.

I was sat this lunchtime looking at the footage and wandered why the car park looked familiar.

Only just read the article you see. It's the Niche nightclub in Sheffield.

Now it makes sense why the coppers turned up with the dogs & stuff. There have been quite a few shootings and stabbings both inside and outside the Niche over the past 6 years or so.

Definitely not a place you'd take your girlfriend on a Saturday night I can tell you. Sheffield is smack bang in the middle of 3 other big cities. Leeds, Nottingham and Manchester are all within 40 mins drive from Sheffield and the Niche attracted the best of what all 4 cities has to offer in terms of drug & gun running.

When you get the Moss Side of Manchester, the Pitsmoor of Sheffield and yardies from Nottingham & Birmingham meeting up in one place, along with large Sheffield/Leeds and Bradford Asian gangs trying to muscle in, lets just say the Police wanted that woman in the van and back to the station sharpish.

They wouldn't have wanted a drugged up boyfriend and his mates turning up with a shooter (or maybe a rival) so I'd say she got off lightly.

Last time I went in there I went for a piss, to the bar and straight into a fight where I smashed someones head against a pole (in self defence) only for 1 bouncer to hold me down while another stamped on my shoulder breaking my collarbone.

I was then picked up by 2 of them by the neck and thrown down those same steps on that video. It was icy but I managed to grab the rail and not break my neck.

My friend had the best treatment though. They carried him down the steps and put him halfway in the large bins and started ramming the lid down upon the back of his legs. Just a bit of fun really when it was more of a rave meetup rather than anything more sinister.

After all that the bouncers let us back in and said they'd kicked out the wrong guys. (what they really meant was that they'd just found out my uncle was with me on a stag night, and usually worked on the security there, ontop of my girlfriend working with the owners wife at the time)

Had a good night in the end until the pain in my shoulder started.

If some pissed up girl damaged my car and started to resist arrest I would hope the cops used as much force as was reasonable...a subjective thing..the girl was drunk/fitting..she looked athletic the CCTV does not show her hit in the face..if she was hit a few times in the arm to make her come round seems reasonable to me...of course they'll always be savage cops and there will always be twats who have a knock at the ol;d bill coz theyre the old bill...I've been round a long time and this story is bollocks and will go nowhere..

I watched the clip, she aint having a fit, she is using her feet on target, I have delt with people having a fit they are out of control. Seems like a fair call although its worth a mention cops get a few weeks restrain training which includes pressure point work. They don't get years of martial art's traing most good doormen have more experiance than the cops, if you work in a rough club its sometimes 10 times a night. I am surprised they were brave enough to arrest her at all as usually the race card is played so many times on them they are scared unless they really need to. I have worked in Sheffield a club called The Limit, it was a shithole and rough as fuck, most of the bother was Leeds/Bradford lads tearing up the locals. Footy violence was cut by CCTV, inside police informers and the courts calling it mobbing and rioting then handing out jail sentences. The clubs began to ban and prosecute you because they themselves got fined if they did not. RFC and CFC are a great example I went to the old games when you run the risk of a slashing or a stabbing at any time, that died away really quickly. CCTV has made a massive difference.
