I haven't read the majority of posts about this because I suspected the usual assumptions to be made about the people who use charity shops and clicking one post which contained comments about urine it great to see the 'clever formulites' didn't let themselves down.
I've never bought clothes from a charity shop and never would but have bought items like toys in a way to give the charity some support.
How many have actually been in the shops or are the comments based on the usual tv comedy sketch assumptions?

I've worked in a c/s in tha past and I assure you that that 'dead man's
smell' was THOROUGHLY removed, at least when I was there.

Re: Charity shops..
About 3 weeks ago (Sunday) went into 3 different charity shops all
within about 100 yards and every bloody shop had Dale Winton on
their radios!! Seems he does a show bit like Jimmy Saville used to do
playing the chart hits from the top 20 of two bygone years

Maybe if tried pulling up in something other than the royal coach you'd find the prices at their usual rates your majesty
Having picked up 2 sleeveless muscle nike tops for $AUS4-00 10 years ago I can say there are bargains to be had if you in the know

Re: Charity shops..
I often go in the charity shops near me.
If you have a dig through all the crap theres sometimes some good bargains to be found. There are always people donating stuff that still have their tags attatched too.

Remember the classic scene in One Foot In The Grave. Victor sees a note in his local newsagent for some shoes, goes round to the house, woman invites him in----and there's hubby pegged out in his sitting chair still wearing the shoes.
