It doesn't make any difference.
We trade in three currencies you mentioned and generally speaking one currency is weaker at all times. Subscription revenues therefore average out.

You're not seeing the bigger picture. It's not as simplistic as you seem to think.
Yes we use CCBill Europe and get paid in DOLLARS which we then use to hire models in the UK using STERLING to make a profit to buy equipment here in Belgium in EUROS.
So as a company we're 'trading' in multiple currencies.
Geddit?

Yes i geddit and it dosnt add up, if you convert dollars into stirling to pay the models you are more than 20% worst off than you would have been a year ago and if you convert either dollars or stirling into euros you are more than 30% down than a year ago, i also trade in multiple currenciesand the pound took another hammering today but recovered a bit towards the end of the session, therefore as the pound falls your models are costing you more !wink!

Apologies i meant to say if the pound rises your models will cost you more, the point is that the lower the pound goes the more it will cost to join a site if it is priced in another currency other than stirling, and this could be part of the reason why people are not signing up !wink!

That's only true for UK people signing up. It's still the same price for Americans, for example, and the site owner then benefits from the low pound.

That of course rgb is correct but im assuming that most British sites are targeted at a British audience therefore a sinking pound isnt good unless you also sell subscriptions in sterling !sad!

Most of my members are Brits - I just reduced the price in dollars to keep the pound price about the same. The added bonus is it makes the price more attractive to Americans without me losing any money !happy!
