I am in total agreement with Angel on this subject. I am in a fortunate position of not having to rely on porn for my main income so have never felt compelled to go down the personally unacceptable route of Bukkake, escorting etc. I don't want to belittle the girls that I know are doing this as I also know that they take every precaution possible and making a living purely from pubished Brit Porn is nigh on impossible nowadays. I would also like to add that Angel's decision to post this as a partial reason for not attending the BGAFD party should not let you come to the conclusion that all of us girlies are involved in such high risk activities. Angel is completely right to bring up this topic and it's good to see that professionals like you recognise the need to seriously address the major league risk elements that she's highlighted.

Wendy, you're very lucky not to have to rely on porn for a major portion of your income. Sadly, the vast majority don't have that luxury. Very few of them can hope to encash a little known name by way of website, which no doubt, you and only a few others can.

So what happens? Corners start getting cut and bk's and gb's become desperate alternatives. And down that route goes unacceptably high risk as Angel, and others, have so properly pointed out in this thread.

No one has an answer. Those of us whose money is part of the huge revenue base of porn sometimes ask the question: is it right to patronise what might lead to fatal infections? We try to rationalise it by saying well we don't patronise snuff/scat/extreme sm etc etc. But, deep inside, we know there's a weakness in this argument and sadly/strangely/unavoidably, the desire for sexual arousal by audiovisual pornograpy is often overwhelming.

People say, better you wank than going out and raping some poor woman. Thing is, those of us who watch porn don't consider it an alternative to rape. I can safely say if I don't watch porn, I'm unlikely to hit the streets looking to violate a woman.

What I might do, Wendy, and this is an important point, is to seek an episode with a prostitue/escort/masseuse. That's why I think it might not be accurate to lump escorting with bk's and gb's. Carefully done and managed, escorting might just be the safer way to supplement income for those girls who aren't Wendy-type superstars. Of course, there is the alternative that Angel is clearly considering which is to get out of the biz entirely.

Irrespective, no doubt, we all wish Angel well, as we do you, Wendy, as well, mainly because, and not only, your imagery and sexual exploits on screen have been a source of intense sexual pleasure for many.

I take your point Darkow, I'm only saying that escorting isn't for me. I have good friends that do it and make a good living from it I only implied (I hope)that their paramount concern was one of their own health. I don't think you need to lose any sleep over the porn/rape argument. Rape has in many studies been proved to be an issue of power not sex. It has been an erroneous argument used by the anti - porn brigade for a very long time.
