Just like it is, worked in a Yates(Birminham family not the posh wine bar) pub where a group of pissed girls got mad when we asked to empty their bags (pub bombing times) and they went mad it took everyone on the door to control them eventually it turned out the reason they were so defensive was they had modeling knifes in their bags and were looking for a girl on her hen night to waste her wedding. I can remeber or care if they where white, yellow or black I can remeber having to get a Tetanus jab because I did not want to choke one out so I tried to hold her slack,,, wrong move she bit me like a pit bull. Learn a lesson that night most guys who work clubs learn don't be racist or sexist treat everyone the same talk them down, talk them out if that don't work look after number 1.

"We all prejudge people from previous experience because that's what keeps us alive. (rightly or wrongly)"

If it keeps us alive then it's very much rightly. We learn form our experiences of the world and our experience of 'how people are' ? much like in the wild, where a zebra?s experience of lions eating their friends and family might just lead them to form the opinion that loins are raving carnivores with a mission to devour zebras. Now, yer typical nutty Labour party supporting PC person would say that zebras are clearly reactionary right-wingers (and ?lionists? to boot) who are unfairly stereotyping all lions as lazy, zebra-munching, greedy fuckers. Well, hey, guess what? (reality check coming up). They fucking are!

So, Sam, the next time someone accuses you of stereotyping someone or some group, tell ?em to bog off and stop being a pretentious silly twat. There?s no smoke without fire and stereotypes didn?t just spontaneously pop out of the ether. There are reasons for them.

But on the other hand, though one should always be cautious and vigilant, you should always give the individual or group a chance to prove themselves ? after all, they may just turn out to be a rare breed of caring, sharing, vegetarian lions.

"The stop and search figures tend to speak for themselves."

They do indeed.

"the more people you stop, the more drugs and knives you'll find."

Yes, but only if the kinds of people you stop are the kind of people who would be carrying drugs and knives - and they are the type of people society wants stopping - aren?t they? If you want the old bill to stop groups other than those they know (and we know) have a propensity for perpetrating certain types of crimes, then maybe they should pull over a coach full of little old ladies on their way to the Chelsea flower show? Maybe they should strip search those nice people in their tuxes and gowns at the Royal Opera House, or those people attending the Rotary Club do ? all in the interests of PC fairness of course (never mind the fact that these sorts of people hardly ever cause anyone else any ?street? problems).

The women can be just as rough as men even rougher.

As we know, doormen aren't the best trained people in subtle methods. The police should be better trained. My brother's a mental health nurse (i.e. deals with dangerous, violent people on a daily basis), and he's been well trained in restraint techniques. None of these techniques involves punching people, especially little girls.

But it's clear that the thought of punching little girls is just fine to you - it's not fine to most people.

Getting a bit nearer the truth, quote from the following link:

"Last night it emerged that the man orchestrating the campaign was convicted by Sheffield magistrates two months ago for hurling racist abuse at two white traffic wardens. The revelation that Johnson has an axe to grind against the police force that arrested Miss Comer will increase suspicion that the release of the tape was politically motivated."
