Heard an interview with John Lydon on Talksport Radio tonight (yes Talksport)
Asked his favorite song (or lyrics), his answer
Working Class Hero by John Lennon.
(I am sure with the "pure shit" comment they came out with it to look "big" and "clever", like a schoolkid does to "shock" their headmaster. It is mainly used by people who have little talent of their own. At that time they would have said anything was "pure shit" just to get another headline in the Sun).
