But you're still ignoring my points. Do you agree that you have to use your brain about as much (maybe less) to watch a movie, or listen to an album, as you would interacting with a computer game?
What is 'brain power' then?
You've asked this more than once and I let you off the first time because I assumed you was being facetious. Apparently not, and it just shows what a blind fool you can be at times. Please try and explain the following, if you have the guts:
In this thread you've questioned my literary perusals. Apparently, according to you, I've not been enamoured by any meaningful prose or verse; you've heavily implied ignorance of me, or at the very least of being moderately experient in what is respectable or educative. Is this fair? I can honestly say I've never read a 'self-help' book in my life.
Now, onto the bit what's funny. After all your assumptions and underhand scoffing; after implicating your superiority -for that is all it was when we get to the nitty-gritty- you ask me what I mean by 'brain-power'? Really? Do I, unlearned peasant from the north have to explain it; do I, the cut-and-paste debating, Alan Bennett loving, ferret-stroking, flat-cap-wearing philistine need to educate you ? is it I who has the rather surprising job of ameliorating you in the use of metaphor?
It seems to me, 'tho I'm very so 'umble, sir, as I'm 'fraid to mention it,' if you've forgive my quoting of the dastardly Uriah Heep in Dickens' David Copperfield, that not only does the addition of a zero on any numbering scale sends your logical thinking all asunder but everyday figurative speech ends up going way over your head as well.
Regardless, now you know, and there's no need to thank me for the edification.
