This debate digressed away from the subject that "There is one law for them another for us." and become trivialised.

The system of justice in England is rotten to the core and the prisons hold many innocent people who should not be there. It is difficult to get a case overturned but history proves that innocent people have hung and many have spent years in prison when they should not of have done.

One can give examples of corruption in other countries of politicians fiddling funds and so on and farmers over claiming subsidies but and that is a different kind of corruption.

What I am talking about is the courts and judicial process. Injustice and miscarriages of justice are common place as is the giving of false evidence, planting forensic evidence and plain bribery. This state of affairs eats away at the body politic as it reaches to the highest levels.

Perhaps one day some of you maybe rotting in a prison cell for something you did not do then perhaps you wont be so keen of defending the status quo!

Of course there are innocent people in jail, but there are a lot more guilty people that walk the streets.

I've not argued against whether your statements have any credibility, only your attitude. It seems injustice only happens in the UK, according to you.

I say, though not perfect, if I was on trial for anything, I'd feel more comfortable in an English court. If I was sentenced to imprisonment, I'd feel a whole lot happier in an English jail.

Innocent people sit in jails in every country in the world.

English prisons are incredibly violent and law stops at the front gate. There are many suicides, especially of young prisoners.
British prisons are almost the worst in the world!
