Besides I dont think Johns initial comment was aimed at everyone. More like the people who are guilty of it. If thats not you then you shouldnt have replied.

Also if you used names your comemnts are levelled at it would make things easier and to Johns defence I can understand his sentiments.

I would feel the same if I sent a girl to this or any forum and she came back in floods (not implying the lady in question did) but I know of another more recognised and loved name on here this happened to recently and I would certainly say to the person that made those nasty comments to be more man enough to do it in person than be a snidey snivvelling bitch hiding behind a keyboard.

Then i would truly know where I stand with a man and respect him for doing so.

Doesnt mean I have to agree with it if the shoe dont fit.

So basically what you are saying is that it's ok to make piss poor offers of work to new models and then it's ok to be rude to them when they turn the offer down! But it's NOT ok for people to stand up for them!
It's attitudes like that, that is a major part of what is wrong with this business!

On a side note, do you think it's ok to be rude to people in general or is it just models you have a problem with?
If it's people in general, are you just rude using a keyboard or are you rude to people face to face?
If it's face to face, is it just women or are you rude to men as well?

Naming and shaming doesnt work as we tried it on our producers forum and everyone is scared of using it !laugh!

Some have blatantly said they wouldnt use it which allows the same offenders to keep getting away with it.

Its there if people want to use it anyway (within reason of course) Just bear in mind we wil not allow people to name and shame unles the person who is making the claim makes themselves known.

We all know that communications can be altered before being aired on a forum.

Once a statement has been made whether it be true or not, some of it will stick. This is neither professional or fair.

JR, I agree with your points about being rude but you have wavered slightly from your original post in your views and comments. You have also used quite abusive language towards other poster's and that seems to be ok with you.

OEJ, Once again, I agree with a lot of what you say but that is being watered down by constantly going on about your "producer's forum".

An OFFER is just that, an offer. If you don't like it, just say, No and move on.

Thats why we offer to alert the accused to state their case Kelly.

If they dont or cant be bothered then they are guilty then shouldnt be too surprised of the outcome.

I know if I was being accused of asking for extras or trying it on that I'd be quick to respond.

The producers forum might be watered down to you but if I didnt mention it then certain people wouldnt know about it.

The ironic thing is when people go on about us being all secretive. Far from it.

In theory you may be right but in practice we wont know until we find out.

Too many people are frustrated by it so we try it and see if it works. If people choose not to use it then that is their problem but then an argument has no legs if it cannot be substantiated with evidence.
