An Important Message from ZMA Industries, Inc., doing business as "GloBill.com"
GloBill.com ("GloBill") has ceased processing. The reasons will be explained in a settlement and explanatory package that will be sent to GloBill webmasters that follow the directions set forth below. All webmasters are strongly encouraged to participate in the process.
*** Please do NOT attempt to cash any checks that you currently hold for GloBill payouts because these checks will be returned NSF ***
*** ZMA Industries, Inc. will issue new checks as part of its settlement process.***
In what we believe is an unfortunate example of Visa abusing its power against the adult industry in a stunningly arbitrary and patently unfair manner, we were advised that our bank was instructed to terminate our processing in order to avoid threatened fees in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. ZMA Industries, Inc. is already in the process of preparing legal action in response to the recent developments and further information regarding the precise nature and grounds of the imminent litigation will be forthcoming in the future.
GloBill is contracted with a technical operations company that will continue to maintain certain user related systems. Namely, the correct commands will still be sent to your server to expire users when their membership ends. Users will be able to log in without any problems. You also will be able to manually add new users to your password file, obtain users lists, etc.
All GloBill clients who are owed funds will be responded to in writing by our corporate office in St. Kitts. In order to receive our settlement documentation and other pertinent information, you must send us a letter detailing your payee name, contact information and all site IDs that you held under GloBill by Monday, September 15, 2003. Please ensure your letter includes the following information at the TOP of your letter:
Your full name, the full name of your company, complete mailing address, telephone number with area codes and/or country codes and email address;
Your main payee name under GloBill; and
Your GloBill Site IDs.
Letters should be mailed directly to our office in St. Kitts by Monday, September 15, 2003 to be factored into the settlement process. You may also send the letter to our mail-forwarding address in the United States on or before the same date, as all mail sent to this address will be forwarded to our St. Kitts' headquarters.
Given the volume of mail we anticipate receiving, please allow 6-8 weeks for ZMA Industries, Inc. to respond to your correspondence. Please do not phone, fax or email because these methods of contact have now been automated. ZMA Industries, Inc. will only respond to written communications that contain the information set forth above.
In order to receive your settlement package, please send your inquiry letter at your immediate convenience and no later than Monday, September 15, 2003 to:

GloBill.com / Settlement
c/o ZMA Industries, Inc.
Amory Building Victoria Road
P.O. Box 1058
Basseterre, St. Kitts
West Indies

Needless to say, we are deeply disappointed with the sudden and astonishing turn of events that has decimated GloBill within a matter of days. Our regret stems not only from our disappointment with the unjust manner in which we believe we have been handled, but more notably by our inability to continue serving all of our valued webmasters in an exemplary manner. Please accept our deepest regrets and look for further information as it develops in our settlement package in the following weeks.

No that is not the answer. It is a political act on the part of Visa; they are going to close all adult business down. This is the third time it has happened to us with the three largest operators in the business, we are down over the three companies over $10,000 this is money we will never get back. CC Bill and the rest will be next, and it could be very soon. If you go with any of these companies the same will happen.

This is not the place to go into one about the unethical behaviour of Visa, we may be able to help you and some others. If you are interested please e-mail us and we can discuss things.

Remmy is 100% correct. It is a moral/political decision, NOT a financial one.

I cannot profess to know what emmab's post is all about except to say that is it is the usual gobbleygook put out by any corporation who suddenly find themselves unable/willing to produce the goods that customers expect from them.(naturally no offence to emmab).

Remmy is a good friend of mine who has been in this biz for over 20yrs, with great success. Strand,Dr.Blues Sex shop etc speak for themselves and it would take a lunatic to say that they do not deliver the goods on time as advertised. Same with Your Choice, Amanda Charles and all other reputable companies.

For you guys and gals who simply want to subscribe to a particular site and get what you expected, little will change.

For pro's with subscription/pay sites, call him. HOWEVER, you will be vetted strongly and only serious players will be accepted for what he has in mind.
Amateurs -stay away.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what is about to happen in the adult industry.

Adult Check launched AC Pay as a processor exactly a year ago. Last month it was forced to change it's name to EGS Pay and now that too has pronlems which hopefully will be sorted out by tonight as none of us have had a new sign up registered on our stats for the last two weeks, only re-bills.

Epoch/Paycom have told their webmasters that they can't use IBill as a secondary processor.

CCBill sent us all emails this week informing us that they will now be operating as a ticketmaster site/shop and all surfers will be offered other sites and items once they have signed up to a site. This was brought in by MasterCard. CCBill cannot just be the processors for individual sites they must offer more.

Another cc processor was forced to shut only recently and this is all down to the Ashcroft admin in the States putting pressure on Visa and Mastercard to tighten up on the pornindustry which is what all my American friends were worried about when Bush was voted in.

Most of you here are customers and not pay site owners and may find this thread boring but for those of us that give you the sites to view.. It's sheer hell and a lot of sites will have to close. We in the UK are lucky at the moment as we haven't had to pay $750 as our American counterparts to accept Visa with each processor we use and then to see them closed down..

Those sites that can carry on for a few more months will soon have a lot more business as the weak will vanish leaving the surfer a lot less sites to visit.

Finally one of the problems that has brought all thi on is the free trials etc. that weren't and the US goverbmant has made Visa and MasterCard crack down on this.

So to any other webmasters here.. Don't ever put all your eggs in one basket by only using one processor. I use two at the moment and by next week this will become three and if I can find more.. I'll use them as well.

This is only the beginning ..
