Are there any plans to provide a list of forum members so we know who is here, and who is online or how frequently they visit ???
Cheers

and many others

No, not at the moment. That's not to say we wouldn't consider something like this at some point, but at the moment there are just too many things on the to do list with a higher priority.

It could be perceived as an invasion of privacy by some folks maybe, so optional sounds a lot better.

........and if the current political climate changed, wouldn't it be just peachy for the myrmidons to have a ready-made hit-list?

I was thinking along the lines of user names and optional additional detail. This info already exists on individual profile but not in an easy to digest comprehensive list.

I'm curious as to why you feel it's so important.........

It would be useful to know who is here and who isn't and how frequently they visit.

Why?
I'm not being difficult; it just seems a somewhat excessive interest to take in forumites' activities. And for a variety of reasons, a lot of people take their privacy seriously.
If you want a rough-and-ready guide to individual usage, just do an author search.

it sounds like a good idea but surely its up to the mods to decide.

Thanks Steve - that's all I was suggesting - an idea for the mods to think about. I didn't expect to start a major issue on privacu, etc
