Just had a look and its well doggy I think starting a site with magazine scans is an open invite for someone to either close it down or sue for copywrite. As the owner of the site you would be held responsible for it content even if you did not scan the subjects yourself....
Recently we closed down a site with my stuff on it by simply serving a warning to the server that if he allowed the site on his service we would sue him...Site was gone the following day and the name behind the frame paid 3000dollar as a sorry..I also last heard Visa were chasing his bank account for clawbacks.

The best site I have seen for information is this one you are on now it has the best forums etc and it will always be here and I know most of the producers will agree cause they are always dropping in.
One last thing a lot of work has gone into the site and it seems like you can never get a good webmaster to work on porn I would have thought there is a place for the builder in legit web company

Unless you have negotiated rights for the use of these pictures from Strand or another authorised assignee I expect them removed by the end of the day.

This is nothing to do with "handbags"............
This is about using somebodys pics without asking...( Some people call it theft )
I notice that many people say that pics used on their sites are considered public domain...
There is no such thing as public domain...somebody somewhere owns the copyright...
The pics in question like many others have cost money to take...Girls, crew etc etc...and when somebody sticks them on a free site for the world to see...it is wrong.
If somebody wants to use pics belonging to Strand they only have to ask....and we will come to an arrangement.... ( not always involving money)

No such thing as public domain my arse. Yours is the weakest argument I've ever read. You're missing the obvious point that this guy is promoting your girls and your productions by having a fan site. His site will cost Strand not a penny - it is free advertising for ytour work whether or not Strand are credited. You are, in short, a jobsworth, and I'd like to see you pay for a cpourt injunction for the sake of a few pictures you'd forgotten you "owned" anyway.

He wont have to pay for an injunction, trust me if this guy ignores him it will cost him money I did try to warn him cause I was sure he never had the rights to the pictures. and cost money my ass. the point of his free site is to send you to the links on his site and create traffic wake up.
I would suggest he takes it down and starts again its pretty easy buy some disks full of pictures he can even buy them of me if he wants then build a site with them or go out and take some pictures and put them on his site. Why should I bother shooting any new product and paying girls when I could just nick it(sorry public domain it).
I have decide money is public domain that meens I can have you wallet......
