I recently got a copy of their catalogue posted to me, it looks very much in the style of Oscar One, but are they genuine?
Has anyone ordered anything from their previous 2 catalogues?
cheers

I had a catalogue myself earlier this week, but the films didn't really appeal to me but it was in a similar style to Oscar.

They sent out a catalogue more than 18 months ago and were very similar to Oscar One. It was a while before I tried to orer anything and nothing happened when I did - neither cheque banked nor video sent as far as I remember. Worth phoning up Oscar One or NVC to see what they say perhaps.

NCV however have been great - are they the same??

The last Oscar catalogue I had was their 13th birthday special with videos up to and including number 1307, don't know how recent this is as the catalogues aren't dated. Oscar One and Deluxe share the same mailing address and phone numbers, HPF the company I first purchased vids from is a different address as is Velvet Enterprises. AS with all newcomers selling vids of this nature 'you pays your money and you takes your chance'.

of the phone numbers I've compared none match velvet
NVC, STB, Oscar one, HPF, DELUXE - all not match

Haven't seen the Velvet catalogue mentioned, but I suggested looking at these as I seem to remeber that one of the numbers on the NCV catalogue matches or used to match one of those on the Oscar/HPF/Deluxe catalogues. If the Velevet one matches none of these then I would be even more cautious about them.
