There were a couple of apparently French films in the late 70s/early80s.

FRENCH FANTASIES (FANTAISE FRANCAISE) (1985)
FRENCH THROAT (GORGE FRANCAISE) (1981)

The dates given in this link may be dates of American release, but it isn't clear whether they were French films or American films pretending to be French, but I have French Fantasies and it did seem to be shot in France, and it is gonzo in that the cameraman is acknowledged and at some points is part of the action. If French Throat is in the same style that pushes it back to 1981.

I think the cast names are inventions.

Interesting Alec, I put it down to Ugly George coz he was who I looked at when Remy and me got together on Home Town Girls. The reason I think the USA jumped on it was because Bob Gutchy at Penthouse view it and blabbed everywhere how great it was,,,,Still working so if you find anything like it let me know,

Phil,
Home Town Girls? I have an ancient copy of that with girls in Brighton Croydon and Manchester. Were you the slim, handsome young man getting in the way of the girls?

I'll tell you where to get some good stuff, including Tracy Buist who was the recent thread subject a couple days ago;

CHARING X NICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was shot on 8mm and VHS & SVHS but didn't sem to bother them or their fucking customers. My fond hope is that they all caught someting nasty from their unwashed hands.
