Joining 'Model' sites

When oh when, will some people learn about getting punters to join thier websites, in this day and age, there should be a minimum 6-16 downloadable jpegs and at least one reasonable quality mpeg (movie). as standard, and if thats not available as far as I,m concerned, 'dont join'
There are some sites owned and run by posters on this forum that are fantastic, both in quality and content, (mentioning no names) and some that are simply poorly put together and dross, without a single thing to entice you to join, so if your site is struggling and your not selling much content, think about it!.............

Hi Lizard,
Following on from sites that give too little content, do you think you can give away too much free content in a preview area?
Cheers

No, of course you can't give too much. I think it all ought to be free....lol.
Seriously though maybe some sites are a little careless in what can be seen by non-members. You don't have to be an adult with a credit card to access some hc.
Perhaps the answer is to lead the punter to the door and let him have a limited peep at what is inside.

Takes all types of Webmasters Lizard as in any industry
There are those that are out to make a quick killing from the unsuspecting
and those that are in it for the long haul and are looking for recurring members
Once you've been through a few sites you really shouldn't get duped and if you do its your own fault IMHO.The warning signs are pretty obvious
Ridiculous Unsubstantiated claims being number 1
Sites like are a good resource for the unsuspecting punter who hasn't ever joined a site before
Even though they've ownly reviewed 1500+ sites(reputably 750,000 on the net) they still give you a basic idea of how not to get ripped off

From a business point of view and as the site owner, of course!, as the woman said " you dont buy the cow when you can get the milk for free"
however it really pisses me off when someone shows a few small jpegs, promises all sorts inside, but cant back it up...................so why would anyone join!

Because they've been searching the net for eons and finally they find the women in question
Like buying a Porn Video and expecting the babe on the cover to alwasy be in the action-WRONG
Short answer.....being on heat makes people impulsive not rational

I got ripped off within the last couple of days, only cost me US$1 though.
Paid for a 1 day trial and never got sent the Username/Password, all my emails bounced but I just made sure the automatic rebilling for 30 days got cancelled.
Just think how I would feel if I had gone for the full month membership.
I wont name and shame because it isnt a British site.

Hi Lizard
I agree that if your joining a site it should be worth the monthly fee asked of it, most of the British sites do give value for money & some do rely on their good name to promote their sites by not giving much away. Lizard is right by saying you need at least 16 pics to let people know the quality & content of the site, i disagree about the m-peg downloads because it would cost to much for the bandwidth. In April when we stop selling films on our site because of changes in the law we'll start a sister site which will stream films instead, we'll also have some girls doing web-cams on different nights of the week, some parts will be free & the rest will be members only. We hope the free bits will encourage members to know they
will still recieve the quality weve given over the years. People that have bad experiences with sites e.g passwords, lack of content should first get in touch with the webmaster to sort the problem & if that don't work openly
name them to warn others.

Try emailing the Billing company
I had a month membership approved a while back and gained entry only to find all the videos advertised didn't exist
I emailed the billing company and received a refund immediately...pswbilling.com
In the past I've had 1 occasion where I couldn't contact the webmaster to gain access to a site I'd signed up for a years membership and the billing company weren't returning my emails. No alternative...dishonor by the bank
cheers
