I'd just like to see some girls with real tits, natural fannys and no tats. Curvaceous girls with red pouting lips and hourglass figures. Girls who know how, and when, to apply make-up. Girls who know how, and when, to dress provocatively, showing imagination and flair. Girls who own some decent lingerie, Girls who act like girls and don't try to emulate young chaps. Oh, and I?d like to see people having real sex, like real people do, not empty, perfunctory, meaningless, 'Porno Land sex' - if you can call it sex. Alas, it now seems like I'm asking for the earth.
Yes, I reckon a straight type sex film would be like a breath of fresh air - 'Back t' basics' I say. Do people want gaping, gagging, arsehole type films? On the whole, no. Oh, I'm sure they're are a few odd types out there who are genuinely turned on by all that, but the bulk of people who take that kind of stuff home are doing so simply because it is being offered to them. Much like people take the latest Westlife or Pop-Tart single home. Not because they really want it or like it. They just feel that's what is expected of them, because that is what their peers are doing. They don't have the willpower, individuality or objectivity to decide what they, themselves, really like. So they take the easy option, adopt some ready made opinions, tastes and values. They then tell themselves it's all wonderful, and when challenged they exhibit all the uncritical, un-objective enthusiasm of the zealot. Till, of course, the next month when some new fad or trend takes it's place. Then it would be as if the previous fad had never existed.
"Then, why are so many gapping arsehole type films being produced?" I anticipate you saying. Well, beats me. I guess so long as some are still being sold it keeps the system and the loop going. People's lives and incomes become dependant. But as the novelty of the fad wears off their income starts to diminish, they don't have any dough or time to break free and try something else. It becomes the case that they have to peddle faster and faster along the same dismal track just to keep afloat. What's needed is a huge cultural jolt to shake the whole gapping arsehole-centric influence from the porno orbit ? a similar thing to what happened to society in the 60's with the counter culture, or late 70's with punk. But I don't see any cultural jolts on the horizon at the mo.
