Testing in the UK

We think that it's appalling that girls are not tested when they do girl/girl scenes and some girls have chlymidia etc and are unaware of the fact that they have it. Please producers and talent out there ensure that when you shoot girl/girl that the talent are tested. We understand that it's not possible for people to get to clinics to get their test done as there aren't many clinics specifically for us around. We support John Mason's comments and think that no matter what scene you are shooting whether it be girl/girl, boy/girl, anal or DP that everyone should be tested with in the last 28 days. We would even support a shorter time period for tests as this would make the industry even safer. We know that getting tested may be costly but we all need to remember that we are not just playing with our lives but also with the lives of ALL the other Talent in this industry. That is a huge responsibility and shouldn't be taken lightly!!! Please everyone be aware that talent from this country and the rest of the world obviously travel to the US and in light of the recent HIV outbreak in the industry over there, it may have travelled back, there's always a possibility!!! If you have recently returned from the US please see www.avn.com and www.lukeford.com and check to see if you have worked with ANYONE on the first and second generation lists recently. As Alicia Rhodes clearly pointed out in her posting it could be third, fourth or fifth generation but there is still a possibility that it has come over and although the chance of catching it be slimmer, it's never impossible!!! We will be using condoms for our scenes until this unfortunate situation is over. Please follow us by making this stand.
