Whilst the current threads re HIV/STD etc are both important and relevant, I would as you all to slow down and think of the following:
Whilst everyone professes appropriate outrage/sympathy/advice etc. --This is not new.
HIV & STD's have been around for a VERY long time.
Regardless of "political correctness", AIDS is predmominantly transmitted by male homosexuals. An earlier thread refers to John Holmes who was both a poof and a junkie.
At one time, the great porn empire in California totally shunned male poofs/male bisexuals but then - for reasons which we can only guess at, -overlook the past and went back in time.---------hence the current scare.
Whilst it is easy to jump on the bandwagon and declare onself/offer advice etc etc.
the fact remains that venereal deseases have been with us for many years. As has HIV and with all the best intentions inj the world, if people want to fuck each other without a condom /"clean certificate" - which means little, then they will do so, either for biz or personal reasons.
I would respectfully suggest that certain parties get off this fashionable bandwagon and get back to business.
It has not "hit" the UK. for many reasons, but mainly because performers/producers here are just a little bit particular with whom they deal.
