Brazil Nuts

I'm not going to go around saying who, when where...just make a point.

The guys and girls in the UK industry have been going to Brazil and the US for years then coming back to work with us...most of us didn't know and didn't care enough to ask what our fellow performers did before their shoot with us! Chances are they are the most prolific workers too as they were the most likely to get the work over there too.

Why weren't we shouting before the infections in the states? And what was so hard to see that double anal and internal pop shots greatly increased the risk of a spread of diseases?

There is always a risk of being raped on the street for example but chances are it is far more likely to happen to a girl wandering the street alone at night than in a crowd of people during the day in the high street. It's just common sense and we should use some in the porn industry too!

Some of us have been shouting for a long time Dan, It's only now that people like you are joining in.

Probably because it is only now that people like me are hearing about it Mate.

Think Marino's hit the nail on the head with that. The industry is only ever as safe as it's weakest link.

Yes, it's all about common sense, and common sense should indicate what is potentially lethal without us having to hear about it.

I suspect old hands like Marino are not encouraged to be optomistic having read a lot of the recent postings on this subject.

Although I accept that the siuation in the Brazilian adult film industry may be far more serious than elsewhere, it is, nevertheless, important to appreciate that hiv infection is worringly high in Africa, much of Asia and Eastern Europe, paticularly parts of the former Soviet Union. I accept that that does not necessarily mean that there is a problem in the porn industry in those countries that have one. However it is something we should not lose sight of.

I don't think that this objection was limited to Brazil David, any high risk country...Brazil being one of them. Brazil is especially high risk as a lot of the work there is with TS's and TV's but yes working in Africa would of course be if anything more of a risk...not sure they muh of a porn industry there though or that anyone would be as keen to visit there as the lovely sights of Brazil.

My main concern would be the situation in Eastern Europe. If reports are correct they have a very serious situation there, in the population as a whole, not the porn industry, but for reasons you have mentioned elsewhere, the industry cannot totally isolate itself from its surroundings. I know what you mean about Brazil, certainly not wise to go there for a shagging holiday, but crime in general is also a problem.
