They send their orders out via carrier pidgeon - I ordered from them once & it took ages for it to arrive. There has also been questions on this forum before about their reliability & they come out with all sorts of excuses. Do your self a favour & stick with 'Your Choice'.

Since I know the HCC crew - trusted and respected colleagues to a man - I best field this one.

There may me be legitimate criticism of HCC efficiency but any criticisms of HCC reliability are simply vexatious - i.e., if you place a legitimate order it will always be honoured. This has been the case for the past decade - as thousands of satisfied punters could attest. If that were not the case the firm would not have survived this long and would have fallen by the wayside like many others.

The questions of efficiency relate to VHS orders only (tired technology now). If customers place DVD orders they will arrive relatively swiftly and with a minimum of fuss.

It is not part of HCC philosophy or culture to come out with excuses (except maybe in extreme circumstances) if a customer's order does not turn up in a reasonable time and the customer them makes an enquiry they are told the truth. These are not excuses these are the facts as the administrators understand them.

I grant Your Choice are very efficient, but, if I may be so bold, their choice of films is crap - all American gonzo flavoured material last time I received a catalogue, and as a one time 'punter' I wouldn't have chosen one. My pal One-Eyed-Jack indicates that they have now taken some of his movies on board. But Your Choice don't really offer you unique interesting features specially shot for the job with top models...No, I mean TOP models. And no Celebrity Shags etc. But you pays your money...

I can also recommend vidshop.com , not sure about other people's experiences but I have ordered a few things from them. American titles aswell as our own much loved Ben Dover and everything arrived quickly and much more importantly in my opinion: Accurately !!

So many companies, especially the ones advertised in the papers, send all sorts of stuff whatever you have ordered. Vidshop don't do that in my experience. I have never heard of hcc either so i can't comment on them

Very generous of you Officer Dibble. But why don't HCC respond?

Dan, do a search for HCC and/or Hard Core Cafe and you'll find enough posts to fill a book. Regrettably almost all recent posts have been negative (see links section) and they don't have a website. I have had some excellent tapes from the guys over the years and they produce an excellent catalogue with some films I'd love to see. I decided some time ago I wouldn't risk an order until I'd heard a positive post (apart from Officer Dibble, PR Mann et al).

I am still waiting.

It isn't a site; it's a traditional catalogue. But if you insist on having things presented in Internet terms this should give you a flavour ?

Risk? Risk? What?s there to risk?.. Oh, the negative posts. But didn?t you hear that HCC ran into a spot of bother last year, bother of such magnitude that it would have been impossible any such firm not to experience a hiccup in service? I?m afraid it?s a fact that folks do not hesitate to complain when something goes slightly wrong, but hardly ever stop to write a simple thank you for the interesting, entertaining service HCC provide (though occasionally they do.) The negative comments you allude to were the work of hysterical, irrational, malcontents, some of whom, you may be shocked to hear, have gone on to make fresh orders as if nothing had been said.

But anyhow Bayleaf, you don't need to send an order nowadays. Having stepped into the breech now Alec is to busy with his Euro site, review copies get sent (free of charge) to you. Didn't you get the 'Clash Of The Titans' with Denise Davies? I can?t see it listed.
