Regulars here will be familiar with the bother dear old Ben has been having with the BBFC taking a dislike to the sight of female ejaculation/pissing. Ben had to cut these scenes in order to get his tapes released at R18. The bbfc are a frightened bunch and if some knuckle-dragger at Scotland Yard tells them something is obscene then they beleive it. We should bear in mind that anal sex between heterosexuals in the privacy of their own home was illegal until the mid 1990`s and yet it is now not only legal in private but also in porn. The point I am making is that if juries no longer find anal sex, d.p.s etc obscene under the OPA then I doubt they would find the sight of a girl having a wee obscene. I can understand why Roccos stuff is cut because he degrades girls but Bens scenes are not agressive or degrading. Until there are some failed prosecutions over this type of material the police can continue to bully the bbfc into butchering films by the likes of Ben and One-eyed Jack. Things will only change if producers chalenge the bbfc but most will not bother because the censored R18 will still sell because the average punter is not even aware its been cut. Do we want to end up with bland boring porn like the USA? Don`t get me wrong I am not some pee freak or anything I just want to see the scenes as Ben filmed them.

If your reading this Ben can you tell us wether you will continue shooting watersports and allowing those of us who do not want R18 versions to get the uncut version from Your Choice or STB? You can sell the crappy cut versions to the Yanks like youve always done and give us the real thing. As a big fan of your work I always buy non-pirates. Who else besides Your Choice sells your tapes(not the cut VCA or R18`s)?

Sorry about the length of this post but the whole R18 thing just makes it harder for the genuine collector to avoid buying a censored product and it pisses me off (no pun intended).

Well yes I think a lot of people would find what Ben does degrading. I`d certainly have trouble justifying his on screen behaviour to my aunty Mabel. Its all a question of degrees. I find some of Roccos work arousing but I have also seen scenes where the girls look visibly scared. I am not saying that because I am xenophobic, in fact some of my best friends are "bloody foreigners". Also I have never seen Ben drag a girl across the room by her hair, piss in her mouth and then flush her head down the toilet which Rocco did in a film recently shown on Palco Hot Club. Ben, can you tell us wether you are going to drop these scenes or continue to include them for the overseas market (i.e. Your Choice, STB etc)? I will only buy the uncertificated versions so a few pointers from you as to which companies sell official tapes and not pirates would be a help.

On the subject of Sullivan. Is he not still selling softcore rubbish advertised as hardcore? I know someone who still gets unwanted mailshots despite ordering only once 10 years ago. The advrts all carry a list of Private shops which I had always believed was a sure sign of a rip off. Strange how the police turn a blind eye to companies like this who break trading standards laws and obtain money by deception.

I am not a lawyer but could you try the BBFC for abusing your human rights. As Ben Dover mentioned Mr Sullivan is loaded enough to be able to take action. (I am not sure but is the 'private' chain of shops owned by Mr Sullivan - Steptonhurst suppliers(or are they different?). They or he took action to start the R18 hardcore ball rolling - see this for more - .

I may have been misled into beleiving Mr Sullivan was behind this chain of shops and associated mail order companies. But I can certainly confirm that they used all sorts of tactics in thier mailshots to con people. The mailshots always carried a list of private shops as seen in the newspapers to this day. The mail order address was always one of the shops. Years before R18 they were making bogus claims that hardcore had been legalised and also tried various other tricks. All customers got was a crap tape of softcore (even softer than channel5) 1970`s shorts with a yellow sticker on the side saying "private video". I`m suprised Berth Milton didnt sue for fear that people might associate these sharks with his fine company.
