Hi Everyone,
Does a porn movie need a story line or do you skip straight to the sex scenes?
Also do you like a porn movies that is really glossy or one that is raw and straight to the point?
Does the quality of the sex scene - where it is, what the content is etc mean more to you than actually following the story line?
Licks n kisses

Personal preference is for just straight to the action or as little acting as possible - no one really believes that the window cleaner just happened to be there when Mrs Jones was playing with herself on top of her bed or that Mrs Smith was walking around in a short nightie with no knickers while the plumber was working under the sink so dont bother!
Also "most" porn stars are crap at acting and its embarassing to see them try so I think its bes to just stick at what the original intention of the movie was - sex!

P.S. Bet I post under the one that gets deleted lol

Does it need a story line?
No.
What is a story line?
A sequence of scenes? I have mostly been looking at American hardcore.
1. pattern is introduction, tease, fuck then climax.
2. Get a group of people together and string them with some sex scenes. the group is involved in the scenes and they discuss the clips/scene/scenarios. They start to get hot and then have an orgy.
3. Isn't it hot in here (motivation), takes off clothes, you look good, let's have sex, climax finish.
The hollywood model (mainstream hollywood) has a pattern of tease then a kick in the balls (tease into thinking it will get hotter and then whoops, someone walks in or someone gets shot, killed or has a heart attack).

R18...Shut up man!
You telling me that my life of learning to be the best window cleaner in the world is gonna lead to absolutle zero puntang?
Damn!
To answer the question, it's much like a martial arts films; 1 on 1, 2 on 1, a big group scene with a stick.
I just forward to the fights and the same with porn.
No point trying to dress it up as something it's not.
It's probably why Uncle Ben & Reenie's Road Trips are so popular.
If I wanted to see some "acting" I'd watch Neighbours.

Hi Pheonix,
If porn has a story line it doesn't need to make sense!!!!
People love to see to cock or dildos going into the pussy and that's about it.
There have been porn films that i have been in somehow the cock or pussy has just been there like a prop. Just get on with it I say!!!

Yeah man.
I mean that bit where Daphne died and Des was all like "Oh no Daph!", I was like, in tears man.
Or what about the bit where Todd dies after he gets squashed by a VW hippy camper and Phoebe was like, "Oh no Todd" I was in tears man.
Or what about the bit where Helen died and Hannah was like, "Oh no Grandma", fucking moved me man. bitch should have won a Logie for that.
How about when Scott Robinson woke up in hospital with a new face and said "Aww daaad, Mike" when he came to.
Fucking class mate.
You get me one of your porno punks to come out with class like that.
See my point now?

All you need is build up to the Sex not some walt disney production with meaningless dialogue which you can easily view elswhere
Far too many story lines are just filler and add nothing to the sex scenes
Which is why so many fast forward through it IMHO
cheers

Wow! This thread has generated helpful advice rather than insults and infighting? I'm officially amazed.
Yes, make the sort of porn YOU like and it'll be much better than trying to cynically exploit a market.
For myself, I watch for the sex, but I like a bit of a story too, especially if it's funny.
Porn is wish fullfillment. Just showing a couple of performers going at it is great, but that's partly because it's the "I wish I worked in porno" fantasy.
It's still a plot, it's just the obvious one. There's a lot to be said for fantasies like doctors and nurses, or joining the mile high club, or being shipwrecked with a gorgeous girl Friday, etc.
Good luck and have fun!
