Condoms - time for a change?

Various STD's are beginning to be the norm and thankfully, clinical procedures are diagnosing earlier than in the past. However, that does not solve the problem and more frequent tests have little relevance in this context. Therefore:
Since punters purchase sex videos for the vicarious pleasure of watching others in action, why not make it safer for the performers themselves whilst educating the public at the same time?
Porn was virtually born in the Country many years ago - we(the UK) were the pioneers and so perhaps it is time to come full circle.
The US especially, but not exclusively -stretched the boundaries of sex to points beyond even degradation, violence and abuse to a point where the questions is "What the hell next"?
Sex vids should be (and generally are) designed to titillate, arouse, excite and entertain their viewers. The fact that the public want to see a man ejaculate is irrelevant in the general context. Sure they can have/see that, but why is it necessary to see him fucking bareback?
In an allied business, condoms are mandatory and the pleasure does not suffer or diminish.
I know many girls who would gladly enter this biz if they felt safe but bits of paper have as much effect as saying "Dont't worry about a thing, I love/respect you"!!
There are a (very) few companies that film with condoms and whilst they are far from major players, they earn a decent living and girls are happy to work for them.
I suggest we all have a re-think.
