i am still finding my feet on this forum type thing and i have made mistake's by putting peoples names in as subject matter. if this has caused offense to any one,then i am sorry. i wasn't trying to be a 'smart arse' as someone called me, i just thought that if i put the name of the person i was addresing it had more chance of that person actually reading it. anyway once again please accept appologies...it wont happen again.

Apologies accepted (see my comments in the 'officer dribble' post). A civil tone always brings civil response - from me at least. However, once you've got your feet under the table, and got to know the gang, it may be that, in some instances, it is acceptable to address fellow forumites in more colourful terms - for more info on this particular aspect of forum etiquette you need to consult Lizard or Magoo.
