Why is it some pics of the ladies are XXX hardcore, and others are cropped at the important bits?

There's no one answer to this.

The pictures came from many sources and their main purpose is to identify; so they are nearly all cropped in order that the distinguishing features (face, body etc.) fill the space available as much as is reasonable, while keeping the picture to pleasing proportions - that is not too long.

But this is speculation as I didn't do the final edits on the bgafd pictures, though where they are vidcaps - in some such cases two or more caps one on top of the other, I did the original caps. I may have cropped some of them for the above reasons and I may have cropped out some of the 'action' as this is not a porn picture site per se. I can't speak for the non vidcap pictures.

I think you mis-read the question.

I don't think Everhard mis-read the question so much as answered an issue hinted at by Golostruda, and one that always strikes me when I look at the database.

I know it's an adult FILM database, and I know the adult/hardcore connotations are very ambiguous, but surely now BGAFD has become a focus for information and discussion about the Brtish Adult Industry in general. That being the case is it unreasonable to ask for the database to contain girls who, for one reason or another, don't meet the strict entry reqirements?

After all, in 2004 a persons viewing of adult material will encompas more than films bought from a shop. It seems strange, and somewhat incomplete that girls who will do hardcore boy girl are exculded if they've only done it on the net or in magazines, yet other girls who have done tame solo stuff of mild "pretend" lesbian stuff are listed.

Couldn't the Actresses area be made to include all british performers?

As to non-film appearances the answer is no as there are only so many housrs in the day.

Having looked at your reply to mine, I now see that it has to come from a little square box. Well, you learn something new every day. Thanks for explaining that that. You can also look at the indentations of the thread. A reply to a post is always indented a little, that is further over to the right than the post to which it is a reply.
