back in USA in Jan?

The last Ashley video I saw was "Tera Tera Tera" and she was certainly using condoms then. There was an article in Maxim about 3-4 months ago about her, she stated that the recent AIDS scare in the states had scared her.

She seems to have been one of the hardest working girls in porn for 2 or 3 years so - in the natural order of things - you'd expect to see less of her now. So the decision may not have as big an effect on her bookings as might be presumed. Either way - it has to be her decision. I suppose its for every porn performer to balance risks and rewards - if you think the risk is increasing while the rewards are likely to be falling then that's a perfectly logical decision.

I read on AVN recently that Ashley got deported from the US and couldn't go back there for at least 12 months.

Just a thought but could it be a case that Ashley is "condom only" while she's out in the USA because, from a previous thread, it appears that it's either becoming or already is statutory for those in the HC industry in the USA to wear condoms when there is boy/girl "penetration" in photos, videos and films?
