On the subject of Joe's URL's, I've followed some of the links he's posted and had a few unwanted pages added to my favourites folder(free livecams, free teen xxx, free web girls & hotbabes) also had my homepage changed to yahoo.com. Anybody else noticed this?

sorry about that, some of these sites use unfriendly scripts. I noticed I had to change my homepage on some of the urls I visit (I thought it was because of windows millenium), I supposed that IE6 should be more secure...

go to
tools/internet options...
click advanced tab and go to Microsoft VM and uncheck the 'JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled(requires restart)' entry. I think u have to restart IE and this might stop these sorts of scripts.

Miracle Creations, I think, are using an active X component to change your home page. Joe you should start using
www.i12.com as the host, no banners, 800mb of space and unlimited file size.
Only down side is they can be a bit slow.

I get an error can't create activex whatever on miraclecreations
www.i12.com seem to use a dif local telephone number(from my isp) for connection -

of course its a different number, its a different company. Its still only charged at local call. You don't have to use their dial up anyway. Only when you upload things by FTP. I use my normal isp most of the time and only go on to the i12.com connection when i'm uploading. Simple....
